Our projects for David Lloyd provide world class indoor & outdoor leisure facilities. We have been involved with the brand for nearly 20 years, providing architecture, structural engineering and interior design services on both refurbishments and new build projects.

Entrance of a modern building with sign reading "David Lloyd Clubs" on a gray facade, a paved walkway, green grass, and a wooden fence, with a cloudy sky overhead.

This scheme to refurbish an existing leisure facility included the addition of an extra floor over the whole footprint of the building. The refurbishment included the provision of a spa pool, kid’s pool, fitness suites, cafés and restaurants, spin and fitness studios, saunas, changing facilities, spa Retreats, external leisure areas, children’s play facilities and much more.

As engineers and architects on this project, our role included the appraisal of the existing structure, design of strengthening works, and design of a new steel framed structure to sit on top of the existing building.

To date we have completed 10 New Clubs and refurbished over 250 sites, with facilities such as 25m swimming pools (indoor and out) fitness suites, cafés and restaurants, spin and fitness studios, squash, multipurpose halls, indoor and outdoor tennis, spa Retreats, external leisure areas, children’s play facilities and many more. David Lloyd Shawfair is our latest completed project that has received excellent feedback from club members.
