Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson is a versatile, multi skilled company with the expertise to deal with all aspects of the development process. We offer specific specialist services or a fully integrated design service, whichever is appropriate.
We maintain a proactive attitude to collaborative working both internally and externally; forming working relationships with the industry’s foremost clients, consultants and contractors. Our clients have come to expect a distinctive standard of service, which we continue to enhance and improve.
Architecture is the cornerstone of our business. We have a long history and expertise in our clients’ specialist sectors: offices, retail, residential, industrial, distribution, universities, historic buildings, mixed use and leisure facilities.
We are often appointed as Lead Consultant to manage the contribution of all disciplines.
Interior Design: Our success is based on strong analytical skills and expertise in space planning, material selection, lighting design and attention to detail.
Engineering: The Structural/Civil Engineering group functions as an independent specialist consultancy service, or within an integrated design team with our Architects. The Group undertakes work directly for clients, their agents and other architectural practices.
Masterplanning: We were one of the first practices to promote Masterplanning and Urban Design as key components in successful development, as can best be appreciated by our plans for Newcastle Quayside, Sheffield Canal Basin and Sheffield Riverside.
