Director
Alan Morton is the Chairman of Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson Limited; the first non architect to lead our company in a history of almost 175 years. He has specific responsibility for structural and civil engineering services and company duty for legal and contract matters for all disciplines. Alan has been involved in the design and delivery of projects within most development and engineering sectors, collaborating with development clients; their professional teams; industrialists, contractors, building owners, investment funds and other architectural practices; employing all procurement methods. He has extensive constructional technical experience and has often been appointed for his expert knowledge. His skills and expertise were recognised early in his career. He joined the Practice in 1972, became an Associate in 1975 and a Partner in 1983. Alan’s inspirational leadership and common sense have been central to our accomplishments.
